Growing up on a horse farm west of Saint Louis, Amy Ariel wandered through her after-school and weekend hours climbing trees, walking creek beds, and making up stories. After moving to St. Louis she graduated from Parkway North Senior High School in 1993, and Grinnell College in 1997 with a BA in History. Working at Jamestown National Colonial Historical Park and Valley Forge further developed Amy’s interest in making the past accessible to youth.
Amy moved to Saint Paul, MN to attend Hamline University School of Law and became a member of the Minnesota Bar Association in 2002. Amy Ariel has been very involved in the Jewish community in the Twin Cities as a Jewish educator and youth worker since 1999, and she currently works full-time as the director of the 7-12th grade program at Mount Zion Temple.
Friends Forever is her first novel. View or download the press kit.
